In order to expand and improve the scope of JIAM 2016 OSAKA and encourage synergistic benefits for exhibitors and visitors, related trade shows for textiles, fashion, and supplies and accessories will be held in parallel with JIAM 2016 OSAKA . As of this date, two fairs, “International Apparel Supplies & Accessories Fair (tentative)” and “Fashion Business Solution Fair (FBS)” are scheduled to be held concurrently with JIAM 2016 OSAKA .

International Apparel Supplies & Accessories Fair (tentative), which was founded in concert with JIAM 2016 OSAKA , provides opportunities to assemble and introduce to apparel manufacturers, in a single location, all the technologies, products and materials related to apparel.
The apparel industry consists not only of materials, sewing and designs but also of various supplies, accessories and services. In that sense, holding the fair concurrently with JIAM can bring out great synergistic effects for exhibitors and visitors. For visitors, the fair presents an opportunity to see the wide world of apparel supplies and accessories in a comprehensive way and to experience firsthand the latest products and technologies. The fair will offer solutions to the challenges faced by visitors and will showcase products of apparel supplies and accessories.

Fashion Business Solution Fair (FBS) in JIAM 2016

What's FBS?

Held for the first time in January 2014, the FBS is a trade show that provides support for fashion production and the creation of selling spaces.　The fashion business is becoming increasingly diverse alongside consumer changes.　The subject of production is also diversifying. More and more, the industry is calling for "new production sites and technologies" as well as "new proposals for creating selling spaces." FBS is our response to these needs from the industry. Exhibitors will include retailers and manufacturers whose targeted customers are overseas visitors to JIAM 2016 OSAKA . The exhibition will assemble and present textiles, supplies and accessories, assistance to create selling places, inbound guides for Kansai sightseeing sites, and made-in-Japan goods. Apparel manufacturers and selective shops are aggressively being solicited to visit the fair.
